Job summary

Carlisle Gifts, Plain City is seeking a retail display/designer to develop and maintain compelling shop visuals. You will create floor and window displays, reflect marketing initiatives, and optimize space to boost sales while keeping displays fresh.

The role requires 1+ year in retail design/display, strong communication, and a high school diploma. Working evenings, weekends, and holidays with flexible scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication required.
• 1+ years of retail design/display experience.
• High school diploma required; merchandising degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain visual feeling of shop.
• Create visual floor/window displays.
• Ensure on-going marketing initiatives are reflected in displays.
• Maximize space and sales while creating visual direction.
• Maintain proper quantities of product in displays.
• Develop ideas and maintains fresh display appearances.
• Inform staff of new product displays.
• Relate in a friendly professional manner to shop guests.
• Inform manager when product is needed.
• Plan and manage displays.
• Construct or assemble displays.
• Arrange items on displays.
• Place pricing and description on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, or floor as directed/needed.
• Assist with other duties as directed or needed

Job Type

• No Sunday hours
