Job summary

SAS Retail Services, an Advantage Solutions company, is seeking an entry-level in-store merchandiser in Newport News, VA. You will support retailers by setting up displays, updating shelves, and rotating stock to boost sales. Training and team backing are provided to help you succeed.

Requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and strong customer service skills. Flexible hours and benefits are available to qualified associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers’ needs.
• Build displays and end caps, reset shelves with product rotation, and track inventory.
• Monitor inventory to ensure stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities.
• Collaborate with store teams to ensure shelves are well stocked and presentable.

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
