Job summary

SAS Retail Services, an Advantage Solutions company, is looking for in-store merchandisers to support retailers in Newport, RI. Build displays, reset shelves, and monitor inventory to help maximize sales opportunities.

You will interact with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic manner and receive training with no prior experience required. Competitive wages and opportunities for growth are offered, with additional hours potentially available.

• Must be 18 years or older; reliable transportation.

In this role, you will provide in-store merchandising support to Retailers to meet shoppers’ needs. This includes building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to ensure that stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. Now, about you:

• Are comfortable interacting with customers and management in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner
• You’re 18 years or older
• Can perform physical work of moving, bending, standing and can lift up to 50 lbs.
• Have reliable transportation to and from work location
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with our clients, customers and team members
• Are a motivated self-starter with a strong bias for action and results
• Work independently, but also possess successful team building skills
• Have the ability to perform job duties with a safety-first mentality in a retail environment
