Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of experienced Retail Merchandisers, offering flexible, project-based work and supplemental income across major retailers and brands. Assignments vary from merchandising, product resets, audits, and display maintenance, typically totaling 12–20 hours per month.

Use mobile reporting to document progress, travel between locations, and complete reports the same day as work.

Qualifications

• Prior merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Able to read and follow planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Capable of independent work across multiple assignments.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable using mobile devices for reporting.
• Available during weekday daytime hours.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Able to bend, stoop, reach, kneel and stand long periods.
• Reliable transportation between locations.
• Own smartphone or tablet with internet access.
• Active email address for project communication.
• Submit reports and photos the same day.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented
• Travel between retail locations as needed
• Complete reporting, including photos and project documentation, on a mobile device
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed

SFS is growing, and we're looking for experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated professionals seeking flexible, supplemental income while servicing some of the nation's largest retailers and brands.

Our clients provide service windows rather than specific work schedules, allowing you a flexible schedule that works for you while meeting project requirements.

Assignments may include merchandising, product resets, cut-ins, inventory audits, display maintenance, POP installation, product stocking, and other retail support activities. Typical projects range from 12-20 hours per month, with some retailer locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month.

• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned retail locations
• Smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) with internet access
• Active email address for project communication and reporting
• Ability to submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed
