Job summary

SFS is a leading provider of retail merchandising services with a nationwide independent contractor network. We are seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to service major retailers, offering flexible, supplemental income and project-based pay.

Assignments typically range 12-20 hours per month, with the option to pick projects that fit your schedule. You’ll perform merchandising, resets, audits, inventory, and reporting using a mobile device across multiple retailers nationwide.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Ability to read planograms and follow instructions.
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Comfortable using a mobile device for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising tasks per client requirements, including resets and installations.
• Conduct inventory counts, display maintenance, and stock merchandising according to planograms.
• Provide required reporting and photos via mobile device, and submit reports the same day.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and accept assignments within windows.

SFS is growing, and we're looking for experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated professionals seeking flexible, supplemental income while servicing some of the nation's largest retailers and brands.

Our clients provide service windows rather than specific work schedules, allowing you a flexible schedule that works for you while meeting project requirements.

Assignments may include merchandising, product resets, cut-ins, inventory audits, display maintenance, POP installation, product stocking, and other retail support activities. Typical projects range from 12-20 hours per month, with some retailer locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month.

What You'll Do

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, retail, reset, auditing, or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Reliable transportation for travel between assigned retail locations
• Smartphone or tablet (Android or iOS) with internet access
• Active email address for project communication and reporting
• Ability to submit project completion reports and photos on the same day work is performed
