Job summary

Winston Retail is seeking a motivated Retail Merchandiser in Clarion, PA to work as an independent contractor. You will keep the sales floor stocked, organized, and visually engaging, reflecting the brand’s identity.

You will perform store-to-store merchandising, follow planograms, submit reports via the Winston App, and manage scheduling to meet project deadlines. A smartphone is required, and you must be able to lift 25 pounds and stand for shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail merchandising or a related field.
• Familiarity with planograms and visual directives is essential.
• A keen eye for detail and creativity in presenting apparel and hardline merchandise.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement merchandising strategies that align with company standards.
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales.
• Communicate merchandising needs with team members and store management.
• Work independently and as part of a team in different store settings.
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and tasks are completed on time.
• Submit store visit reports with before/after photos using the Winston App.
• Report via smartphones (iOS or Android) as required.
• Lift up to 25 pounds and stand for the entire shift.

Job Title: Retail Merchandiser

Location: Clarion, Pa

Job Type: Independent Contractor

Pay: $16-$18 per hour (rate based on market and relevant experience)

Expected Hours: Varies, Project-Based

Job Overview

Winston Retail is seeking a passionate, detail-driven merchandiser. You'll play a key role in ensuring the sales floor is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing. You will be working hands-on in stores to replenish inventory, maintain product presentation standards, and help create a seamless and engaging shopping experience that reflects the brand’s identity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies that align with company and store standards
• Execute planograms to optimize product placement and maximize sales with apparel and hardline merchandise
• Communicate effectively with team members and store management regarding merchandising needs
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in different store settings
• Manage monthly scheduling to ensure store visits and merchandising deliverables are completed by assigned deadlines, demonstrating strong time management and accountability
• Submit store visit reports, including taking before and after photos and writing feedback, using our Winston App on a smart device
• Smartphones are required for reporting:
  • IOS: Use an iPhone 11 or newer
  • Android: Use a 2020 or newer device with an OS no more than four versions behind the latest
• Ability to liftto 25 pounds and stand for theentire shift
