Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15–35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
• Work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder or platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build golfer relationships and work one-on-one with golfers and teammates to ensure a positive club fitting experience.
• Support the Operations Sales Manager in achieving sales, profit and loss objectives by overseeing department sales effort.
• Train and certify all club fitters and focus on driving sales in services like simulator, putting green, and club fitting programs.
• Analyze golf sales reports to understand results and opportunities, and communicate findings to teammates.
• Maintain knowledge of products, services, promotions and advertising; ensure department scheduling and tasks are on track.
• Provide golf services knowledge and communicate the company's golf services standards to athletes and teammates.
• Supervise store operations and assist management with opening/closing and shift coverage.
• Convey information to teammates about company initiatives, programs and promotions.
• Plan and execute golf directives and help manage shrinkage by proper merchandising and accountability.

OVERVIEW:

The Master Club Fitter is responsible for building golfer relationships and working one-on-one with the golfer and teammate to ensure a positive club fitting experience. The Master Club Fitter supports the Operations Sales Manager in achieving company objectives in sales performance, profit contribution and profit and loss controls by overseeing the sales effort in their department. The Master Club Fitter is responsible for training and certifying all club fitters and must focus on driving sales specifically in services related areas, such as simulator, putting green, Special Orders, Pre-Owned, club fitting and repair programs, accessories, etc.

• Consistently analyzes Golf sales reports and data to understand business results and opportunities and communicating the results to the teammates.

• Establishes and maintains effective relationships with athletes and gains their trust and respect by using diplomacy and tact; ensures that athletes are greeted and acknowledged' offers customers assistance as needed or requested.

• Monitors the sales, customer service and operational efforts of the selling floor.

• Point of contact for athletes and teammates to provide golf services knowledge and communicating the company's golf services standards.

• Maintains thorough knowledge of products and service, merchandise promotions, test merchandise and advertising.

• Manages store services sales by performing customer club fittings and repairs

• Responsible for training teammates on all aspects of services; specialized selling techniques, services technology, etc.

• Ensure department scheduling, workplace and daily teammate assignments are on task.

• Help communicate information to department teammates regarding Company initiatives, programs, promotions, services, etc.

• Assists the store management team with general supervision in the store accordance with Company policies and procedures including opening and closing the store and coverage as assigned - Key Carrier.

• Plans and executes all golf directives.

• Ensures the store is achieving shrinkage goal by partnering with teammates/management to set expectations on how to use merchandise for display and properly handle to ensure all is accounted for.

• Complies with all federal, state, and local regulations regarding store operations.

• All other tasks assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Flexible availability - including nights, weekend, and holidays.

• Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).

• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.

• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.

Targeted Pay Range: $19.50 - $28.50. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
