Job summary

Levy is seeking an experienced Retail Operations Manager to join the Tropicana Field team. The role involves executing retail standards, managing on-site retail operations, HR and financials, and driving an exceptional guest experience.

Reports to the General Managers to meet and exceed sales goals. The position requires leadership skills, 60+ hour weeks as needed, and flexibility with shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in retail or sales environments.
• Stamina to work 60 hours or more per week.
• Extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates.
• Flexible with schedule and able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Possibility of hazards include slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains.
• Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and stand/walk extensively.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train and develop retail team to deliver best-in-class guest experience.
• Knowledge and execution of Rank and Rally Core Signatures.
• Lead retail sales teams and shape customer experience through product expertise and execution.
• Demonstrate leadership, organization, presentation, communication, and customer service skills.
• Oversee Customer Service Training & Loss Prevention Training programs for all associates.
• Maintain inventory and POS access with proper supervision and internal controls.
• Use R+R/Levy systems (POS, WFM scheduling) and complete daily reporting.
• Develop min/max inventory levels with Director of Retail based on sales history.
• Plan and execute off-site events and festivals.
• Ensure security, safety and sanitation standards are met.

Job Summary

Retail Manager at Tropicana Field

As the Rank+ Rally Retail Operation Manager, you will assist the GM of in executing “The Difference” in regards to all retail operations, human resources and financials. You will implement procedural standards and expectations for the on-site retail operation as well as customer experience. The Retail Operations Manager will report directly to the General Managers to meet and exceed sales goals.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with Director of Retail, General Managers & HR in the recruiting, training and development of retail team that exemplify best-in-class customer experience
• Knowledge & execution of Rank and Rally Core Signatures
• Strong experience in professional development and management of retail sales teams and the ability to shape customer experience through expert understanding of product in relation to excellence in execution: service, visual merchandising, building a sales & service focused culture. Responsible for enforcing store policies and procedures.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, presentation, communication, and customer service skills with a high attention to detail and demonstrated creativity/resourcefulness in problem-solving
• Facilitate the Customer Service Training & Loss Prevention Training programs with all associates prioritizing consistency in messaging.
• Maintain the integrity of the inventory and POS access by ensuring proper supervision and compliance with all internal controls
• Thoroughly and accurately uses applicable R+R/Levy systems (POS system, WFM scheduling and more) and executes required daily reporting in a timely manner
• Develop and implement min/max levels with Director of Retail based on the sales history by location.
• Direct team to plan and execute off-site events and festivals
• Ensures that all security, safety and sanitation standards are achieved
• Adequately schedules team members to meet operational needs and desired targets within the labor budget
• Holds team accountable to daily responsibilities to deliver great guest service
• Promotes a cooperative work climate, maximizing productivity and morale
• Displays a positive attitude towards team members
• Offering administrative support to the Director of Retail, General Managers and Manager on the retail team
• Monitor, track and order retail office supplies for all warehouse and store locaitons
• Based on business needs, assist with Rays and Rowdies games at various locations that include but are not limtied to Tropicana Field, Al Lang Stadium and Charlotte Sports Park
• Work together with Levy HR and IT to maintain smooth internal operations

• Must be able to work extended shifts of 10 hours or more as business dictates
• Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts (nights, weekends and applicable holidays)

• Must be able to reach, lift, stoop, bend and perform extensive standing and walking (including stairs) throughout shift
• Proficiency of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
