Job summary

Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. offers an 11-week Retail Management Internship in White House, TN for Summer 2027.

You will gain hands-on experience managing high-volume travel centers, including food service and truck care, working alongside seasoned leaders to learn operations and customer service. You'll participate in training across store functions, develop leadership and staff skills, and contribute to merchandising, inventory, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a 2- or 4-year program pursuing a degree in business, management, hospitality, or related field.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check; additional screening may include motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment; able to operate various computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on training across store, fuel, food, and truck care.
• Learn to drive sales, manage costs, and support profitability.
• Develop team leadership and employee development practices.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and standards.
