Job summary

Meijer seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead facility upkeep in a high-volume retail environment. You will supervise maintenance technicians and contractors, schedule repairs, and oversee preventive maintenance for building, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and equipment systems.

You’ll ensure safety and regulatory compliance, manage work orders and parts inventory, and respond to emergencies. In this role, you’ll mentor staff to support reliable, safe, and clean stores for customers and team

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in a retail or facilities environment.
• Proven ability to schedule and prioritize repairs efficiently.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and preventive maintenance.
• Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and cost management.
