Job summary

The TJ Maxx location in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Loss Prevention Associate to support daily store safety programs and shrink reduction efforts. You will build positive relationships with Store Management and store associates, communicating initiatives to reduce theft and loss.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, basic computer and time management skills, and the ability to adapt to changing situations. A flexible schedule and 0–2 years in retail or security are welcome.

• Basic computer skills and the ability to manage time effectively are required.
• Investigative/analytical skills help identify shrink and theft.
• Able to respond to changes in direction or unexpected situations.

Responsibilities

• Completes daily tasks for Store Loss Prevention and safety programs.
• Maintains positive relationships with Store Management.
• Communicates with store Associates on damage and shrink initiatives.
• Identifies and resolves internal and external theft.
• Adheres to shoplifter guidelines and policies.
• Coordinates shrink-related activities with Store Management.
• Completes documentation accurately and promptly.
• Maintains evidence and participates in relevant enforcement activities as needed.
