Job summary

The Buckle retail store in Georgia is seeking a Freight Coordinator to support daily operations, including receiving and unpacking shipments, shipping merchandise, maintaining the backroom, and keeping facilities clean. Verify invoices and prepare FedEx labels, manage stock and shipment paperwork, and assist on floor projects while upholding Buckle's Code of Ethics and delivering excellent guest service.

No prior experience is required; you must be 18 or older and flexible for weekends.

Qualifications

• No prior experience or training.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Verify merchandise invoices against items received to ensure shipments are correct.
• Send alterations, layaways, or special orders to Guests via FedEx.
• Check accuracy of freight packing slips and transfer slips.
• Double-check transfers are processed through the register and match shipped items.
• Fold items and place in appropriate sized box for presentation when unpacked.
• Place Sensormatic tags on garments as required.
• Hang and fold merchandise for the sales floor and steam as needed.
• Assist on floor projects when necessary.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of POS software.
• Receive freight boxes and store transfers through the register.
• Maintain shipment-related paperwork and organize supplies.
• Recognize and report security risks or thefts; know how to handle these situations.
• Create FedEx labels and sort packages by transit time.
• Submit recalls and RTVs weekly.
• Organize fixtures, shelving, and backroom spaces.
• Communicate policy violations to Store Manager, District Manager, and HR in a timely, confidential manner.
• Provide feedback on merchandise handling to management.
• Uphold Buckle’s Code of Ethics and company policies.
