Mint Cannabis is seeking a Retail Lead in Florida to act as an operational extension of the store manager. You will help control floor flow, ensure prompt guest assistance, supervise shift team members, and support on discount codes and lunch coverage on shift.

The role focuses on overseeing floor operations, coaching the sales team, and maintaining strong guest experiences while adhering to state regulations and store policies.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in the cannabis industry.
• Leadership background with large teams is a plus.
• Experience in sales preferred.
• Must be 21+.

Responsabilités

• Leadership: oversee 25+ team members, ensure upselling, daily inventory responsibilities, and guest experience.
• Sales coaching: provide feedback to the team and push for metric improvements at the location.
• Inventory control: coach team to scan out products to reduce shrinkage.
• Floor operations: manage daily store openings/closings, cash reconciliation, and POS/discount codes.
• Compliance: understand Florida compliance to confidently pass state inspections and reduce deficiencies.

Position Summary

Retail Lead

Reports to: Store Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Department: Retail

Pay Range: $17.00 - $18.00 Per Hour

Responsibilities

• Leadership Responsibilities: Ensuring 25+ Team members are upselling, completing daily inventory responsibilities, and providing a guest experience.
• Sales Expertise: Responsible for coaching and giving sales feedback to the team on their shift, while also encouraging the team to improve their metrics for their location.
• Inventory Control: Coaching team member to appropriately scan out products to help reduce shrinkage
• Floor Operations: Manage daily store openings and closings, cash reconciliation, and point-of-sale (POS) systems, discount codes.
• Compliance: Understanding Florida compliance requirements to confidently walk through state inspections, reducing deficiencies.

What Success Looks Like

• Improving sales consistently month over month.
• Team education on expected sales metrics.
• Reducing aging and expiring products.

• Budtenders
• BOH Clerks

Qualifications

• 1-2 years in the cannabis industry
• Leadership background, for large teams, cannabis leadership a plus.
• Experience in sales preferred
• Must be 21+

Physical Requirements

• Sitting, standing, walking, and climbing for long periods of time.

Work Environment

• The environment can be loud
• Atmosphere & Pace: Fast-paced and energetic. The floor features specialized product displays (flower, edibles, concentrates). Staff must be adaptable to busy rushes, as wait times and long lines are common during peak hours
