Job summary

SMCP North America is seeking a Retail Keyholder for Maje at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, CA. You will support store leadership, supervise the team, and deliver an exceptional luxury client experience.

The role requires 1+ year in retail with supervisory preference, passion for fashion, and flexible availability including evenings and weekends. Compensation ranges from $20.50 to $22.50 per hour plus 2% commission and wardrobe benefits.

• 1+ year of retail or customer service experience with supervisory exposure.
• Passion for fashion trends and luxury retail.
• Excellent communication, friendly and persuasive demeanor.
• Willingness to pursue retail management career and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the store team in the absence of the Store Manager/Assistant Manager.
• Handle daily operations including cash handling, opening/closing, and KPI tracking.
• Provide exceptional customer service with product knowledge and recommendations.
• Build and maintain a client book to foster loyalty and drive sales.
• Oversee stock replenishment and visual standards; support onboarding of new hires.
• Deliver an inclusive, personalized shopping experience and guide clients through their journey.

As a Keyholder , you’ll support the store leadership team to ensure the smooth operation of the store and deliver an exceptional customer experience every day. Who You Are:

• 1+ year of experience in retail or customer service, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service and working in luxury retail.
• Knowledgeable and passionate about fashion trends.
• Excellent communication skills, with a friendly, approachable, and persuasive demeanor.
• Adaptable and open to pursuing a career in retail management.
• Social media presence is a plus but not required.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, is required.
