Job summary

WIS International seeks an Inventory Associate Driver (Part-Time) in Homewood, IL. Starting wage is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with flexible scheduling and paid training. No inventory experience required; we provide comprehensive training and opportunities to earn more through performance-based pay.

Responsibilities include transporting staff to events, counting inventory with handheld scanners, and traveling to multiple retailers. A valid IL driver's license and a strong work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver’s license within the state of residence for 36 consecutive months.
• Minimum of three years driving experience.
• Willing to submit to pre-employment screening, background and MVR checks.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigating to locations.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings or late nights.

What You'll Do

• Drivers are responsible for safely transporting employees to and from inventory events in a timely manner
• Count and record retail inventory using handheld scanners
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

This Is an Active Job

You will spend most of your shift:

• Standing and walking for extended periods
• Bending, kneeling, squatting, and reaching
• Climbing ladders when needed
• Lifting and carrying items up to 25 pounds
• Working quickly and accurately in a fast-paced retail environment

What We're Looking For

• At least 21 years old to be a qualified van driver and must be at least 18 years old to drive a personal vehicle for business needs
• Reliable transportation

• Comfortable using handheld technology
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Retail, stocking, merchandising, warehouse, customer service, cashier, delivery driver, gamer, athlete, coaches, and general labor experience are all valuable backgrounds for this position.

Inventory Associate Driver Requirement

• Must possess a valid driver’s license within the state of residence for a minimum of 36 consecutive months
• A minimum of three (3) years proven driving experience
• Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment investigative consumer report, pre-employment screening and MVR check in accordance with company standards
• Familiarity with GPS devices and how to navigate to assigned locations
• Availability to work flexible schedules with varying hours in support of the District Manager and customer commitments, this includes very early mornings and/or late nights
