Base pay range

$45.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Title-Instructional Designer II

Location: Austin, TX, 78727

Duration: 1 Year Contract

Designs and develops self-guided and instructor-led learning experiences for global audiences. Demonstrates and utilizes consultation skills, needs analysis, time management, and course development skills. Has experience designing and developing blended-learning solutions including multimedia scripts and action learning experiences. Collaborates effectively with project teams, SMEs, and stakeholders. Skills requirements include technical writing, curriculum and course development, ability to work independently with minimal direction, and experience writing content for diverse audiences.

Required experience: 2 - 5 years.

  • Ability to design effective and engaging learning solutions
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design methodologies for classroom, self-guided, and virtual training
  • High aptitude for managing and resolving tactical issues
  • Ability to face complex problems and identify creative solutions
  • Experience in designing and developing learning materials (minimum 2 years)
  • Project management skills with attention to detail and deadlines
  • Knowledge of learning technologies (LMS, LCMS, etc.) and ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to work effectively with multi-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic, inventive, creative, and results-oriented mindset
