Job summary

TreeHouse Foods is seeking a Retail II Label Operator at our Wayland, MI facility. This full-time production role involves operating packaging equipment, supporting label application, and assisting with changes to keep production lines running smoothly.

You will work on the second shift and must comply with GMP/HACCP, LOTO, and food safety policies. Experience with forklift operation and a teamwork mindset are essential for success in this role.

Job Description

About the Role: In this role you will be responsible for the operation of various packaging machinery. The Label Operator at the Wayland location assists the Filler Operator with powder, cap, bottle changes, and the application of labels and codes to different size containers. You will also provide support to the Production team, driving and supporting key initiatives to improve performance throughout the plant. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to: Operator must have the mechanical ability to perform necessary adjustments and size changeover of Fuji labeler and other packaging equipment. Have the ability to make necessary adjustments and maintain production rates for labeler and other machinery. Maintain accurate production records and samples. Maintain quality standards for packaging, coding and labeling. Must comply with the requirements defined within the contents of the GMP’S, SOP’s, Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), LOTO procedures, foods safety programs and all other policies established by Bay Valley Foods. Perform other duties as assigned.

Important Details

This is a full‑time position, working Thursday through Monday with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. 2nd shift operates 4pm to 12am Shift differential included for 2nd and 3rd shift.
