Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Englewood, CO is seeking store teammates who excel in customer service and product knowledge. You will greet customers, understand their needs, and help them navigate merchandise to meet goals.

Qualifications

• Prior retail experience preferred.
• Golf industry experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and proactively understand their needs to enhance shopping experience.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards including floor sets and price changes.
• Promote programs such as loyalty, warranty and credit card enrollment.
• Follow safety, loss prevention and SOPs; keep company information confidential.

• Support the team across the store and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Overview

Our store teammates are passionate about creating an exceptions shopping experience for our customers through their eagerness to help, in-depth product knowledge, high brand and execution standards, and ability to prioritize.

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
• Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures. Maintains confidentiality of all Company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customer) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Targeted Pay Range: $14.50 - $21.50. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, location, experience and position offered.
