Job summary

Macy's is hiring a Fulfillment and Receiving Colleague (Back of House) to support store operations and inventory accuracy. You will handle receiving, organizing, and stocking merchandise, while also processing orders for curbside pickup and assisting customers on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize merchandise, pick and pack orders, and process trailers for inventory flow.
• Retrieve orders from back-of-house storage and deliver curbside to customers.
• Monitor Ready on Time for Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Greet shoppers, resolve issues, and provide care during curbside pickups to support customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a tidy stockroom and sales floor, restock merchandise, and update signage and pricing.

Job Overview

As a Fulfillment and Receiving Colleague, also known as a Back of House colleague, you will play an essential role in supporting store operations, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a smooth customer experience. From receiving and organizing merchandise to picking, packing, processing trailers, retrieving orders from our back-of-house storage and delivering them curbside to the customer; monitor alerts to ensure Ready on Time completion of Buy Online Pickup In-Store (BOPS) orders, and you’ll help keep the stockroom and sales floor running efficiently.

You’ll also play a key part in customer interactions - greeting shoppers warmly, resolving issues, and delivering orders curbside with care. Your attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to operational excellence will directly impact both customer satisfaction and overall store performance.
