Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. in Texas City is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor to lead store operations on the floor and serve as Manager on Duty when needed.

You’ll supervise associates, coach for better sales results, and ensure friendly, professional service aligned with our core values. This role develops teams, promotes safety, supports recruitment, and collaborates with management on planning, scheduling, and community relations.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within retail or off-price environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports.
• Promote safety for customers and associates by adhering to company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Resolve issues and supervise front-end operations to ensure exceptional customer service.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Drives Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
