Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor / Selling Floor Supervisor to join our store leadership team in Saginaw Township, MI.

You will supervise front-end operations, coach team members, and ensure exceptional customer service while supporting merchandising, operations, and HR functions. The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in off-price or big-box retail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work a full-time schedule including

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within retail or equivalent environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty.
• Maximize sales results through training, developing, and coaching of direct reports.
• Promote safety by adhering to company guidelines.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Provide exceptional, friendly, and professional customer service at all times.
• Reinforce Asset Protection strategies to reduce shrink.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Support community relations initiatives and meal/break schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings
• Drives Community Relations participation through company programs and partnerships
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitors schedule adherence

Requirements

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required
• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
