Job summary

Burlington Stores in Marlton, NJ is seeking a Full-Time Customer Service Supervisor / Selling Floor Supervisor to join the store leadership team. You will supervise front-end operations, train and coach associates, and drive sales while ensuring safety and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a retail setting (off-price/big box/specialty).
• Strong interpersonal and engaging communication skills.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift/move merchandise weighing 40 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all store functions and associates as Manager on Duty.
• Train, develop, and coach direct reports to maximize sales results.
• Promote safety and adhere to company guidelines for customers and staff.
• Cultivate a diverse culture based on teamwork and collaboration.
• Resolve issues, supervise front-end operations, and ensure friendly customer service.
• Support Asset Protection strategies to reduce shortages.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new associates.
• Participate in weekly workload planning meetings.
• Engage in Community Relations through company programs and partnerships.
• Coordinate meal and break periods and monitor schedule adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all store functions and associates while in the role of Manager on Duty

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience within an off-price, big box, or a specialty environment

• Strong interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude

• Ability to work a full-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as required

• Ability to move/handle/lift store merchandise weighing 40 lbs. or more, as well as the ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
