Job summary

The GIANT Company in Longwood, PA is seeking team members to assist at checkout, stock returns, and maintain cleanliness of the front-end area. Responsibilities include bagging purchases, restocking coolers, retrieving carts, and supporting a safe and welcoming store environment.

You will interact with customers, follow safety guidelines, and perform duties that contribute to efficient store operations and a positive shopping experience for guests in the community.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Able to meet ergonomic and physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Able to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Meet company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Complete the introductory period of 30 or 60 days.
• Able to perform all job functions safely.
• Agree to wear proper assigned clothes and shoes.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule at start of shift and prepare with required PPE and materials.
• Collect and manage trash, operate the compactor as needed.
• Maintain clean floors, work areas, and perform hourly sweeps.
• Collect and push carts to the front-end area.
• Demonstrate good customer service skills.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
