Job summary

Ace Retail Group is seeking a cashier to handle register transactions, greet customers, and keep the front end tidy. The role involves assisting customers with store layout, pricing, stocking, and bagging merchandise, while following all transaction procedures and participating in team meetings.

Minimum duties include maintaining a clean front-end, supporting returns processing, and communicating issues to management.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Cashier experience preferred. Customer service experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting (up to 25lbs) and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers entering and throughout the store; assist with store layout and product location.
• Balance register drawer and follow cash register procedures.
• Participate in store and cashier meetings.
• Keep the front end neat and clean; face and dust areas.
• Assist with pricing, stocking, marking and bagging merchandise.
• Inform management when merchandise returns need to be put away.
• Call for cart pickups and maintain the front-end appearance according to guidelines.
