Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet, Inc. is seeking a Receiving Team Leader at our Pine Bluff, AR store. You will oversee the receiving area, ensure accurate freight flow to the sales floor, maintain back stock, and minimize profit loss by handling damaged goods.

You’ll lead a team, manage direct vendor shipments, and uphold merchandising standards. The role includes opening/closing duties and acting as Manager on Duty as needed. Join Ollie’s for growth and stability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks while working within strict timeframes and deadlines.
• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments of merchandise.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining equipment and a safe, orderly dock and exterior.
• Adhere to company standards confirm the accuracy of all incoming merchandise and set up and design merchandise displays.
• Prepare and process outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures as required.
• Direct the work of other Associates who are assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and complete any additional responsibilities as assigned including opening and closing of the store.

Internal Job Title: Receiving Team Leader

Position Overview

The Receiving Team Leader serves as a store keyholder and oversees the efficient operation and maintenance of the receiving area as outlined in the company receiving area plan. Responsibilities include the accurate, efficient, and timely execution of freight flow to the sales floor in accordance with established processing and visual merchandising standards. Maintain back stock in the receiving area and manage the disposition of damaged goods to minimize profit loss.
