Ollie’s Bargain Outlet in Dodge City is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to supervise the receiving area, manage freight flow, and ensure timely, accurate processing of shipments to the sales floor. The role includes back stock management and minimizing profit loss from damaged goods.

Responsibilities include directing freight, setting up displays, processing transfers, and acting as Manager on Duty with opening/closing duties as needed. Strong time management and team leadership are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks while working within strict timeframes and deadlines.
• Must have a positive attitude and the ability to interact well with customers and associates.

• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining equipment and a safe, orderly dock and exterior.
• Adhere to company standards, verify incoming merchandise, and set up and design merchandise displays.
• Prepare and process outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures as required.
• Direct the work of other Associates who are assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and complete any additional responsibilities as assigned including opening and closing of the store.

Position Overview:

The Receiving Team Leader serves as a store keyholder and oversees the efficient operation and maintenance of the receiving area as outlined in the company receiving area plan. Responsibilities include the accurate, efficient, and timely execution of freight flow to the sales floor in accordance with established processing and visual merchandising standards. Maintain back stock in the receiving area and manage the disposition of damaged goods to minimize profit loss.
