Job summary

Ollie's Bargain Outlet, Inc. is hiring a Receiving Specialist to help move merchandise from delivery to sales floor and support store operations. You will assist with freight, pricing, merchandising, and training new associates in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety and store standards while contributing to a positive guest experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Internal Job Title: Receiving Specialist

Position Overview

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store, and training new Associates.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
