Job summary

Ollie’s is seeking a Receiving Specialist to move merchandise from delivery to the sales floor and to maintain an organized receiving area, enabling smooth store operations. The role includes assisting with freight handling and merchandising and supporting pricing and restocking tasks.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays, and bring a positive, team-oriented attitude to a fast-paced retail environment in Glasgow, KY.

Internal Job Title: Receiving Specialist

Position Overview:

The Receiving Specialist assists with receiving, processing, and moving merchandise from delivery to the sales floor. The Receiving Specialist is responsible for freight handling, merchandising, maintaining an organized receiving area, and supporting efficient store operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist with receiving the truck and moving freight from the truck to the sales floor.
• Support pricing items, merchandising product, and recovering the store.
• Communicate receiving needs and issues to Team Leaders when necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized receiving area and complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
