Job summary

A leading retail technology company in Germantown, Maryland, is seeking a Field Service Technician I. You will be responsible for installing and maintaining electromechanical equipment in retail settings. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills and flexibility in work hours. This role requires travel and the ability to lift equipment as necessary.

Qualifications

• Local candidate to specific geographic area.
• Authorized to work in the US.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that satisfies NCR fleet requirements.
• Prolonged travel, driving several hours per day.
• Ability to lift tools and equipment up to 75 lbs unaided, 150 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer installation, maintenance, and service calls promptly and effectively.
• Service electromechanical equipment such as self-checkout systems.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and preventive maintenance (PM) work.
