Job summary

Sam's Club is hiring a Maintenance Associate to keep parking lots, restrooms, and floors clean, ensuring a safe and positive first and last impression for members. The role requires staying on your feet in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changes while prioritizing member satisfaction.

You will perform maintenance tasks, respond to spills, operate floor scrubbers, and help maintain a safe, welcoming store environment for members and associates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and following Company steel standard guidelines.
• Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) while following procedures, using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotates and stores chemicals properly, and places orders to replenish supplies as needed.
