Job summary

Apple Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Retail Facilities Manager to oversee facilities maintenance for Apple retail stores across the Houston region.

The role balances hands-on store support with vendor management, project oversight, and budget ownership to keep stores operating at high standards. As the primary facilities partner, you will conduct on-site reviews, manage vendors and contractors, oversee projects, and own OpEx/CapEx budgets.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction or facilities management with focus on retail stores/workplaces/critical environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Construction Management, or an equivalent combination.
• Must be centrally located near a major hub of assigned retail stores, with the ability to conduct on-site visits a minimum of twice per month.

Responsibilities

• Store operations & service delivery — engage with store teams and conduct on-site reviews at least twice per month.
• Vendor & contractor management — coordinate maintenance services and manage vendors and contracts.
• Project & program oversight — provide feedback to cross-functional partners and oversee commissioning agents.
• Budget & financial management — own OpEx and CapEx budgets, bidding, and contract negotiations.
• Building & systems expertise — apply knowledge of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Cross-functional collaboration — work with Development and RDDM teams to improve building functionality.
