Job summary

Walmart is hiring a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to uphold safety, function, and aesthetics of store facilities. You’ll perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and document repairs, working under the General Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications include 18+, HS diploma or equivalent, 1 year in trades or 2 years total experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. A sign-on bonus may apply at select locations.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certs welcomed.
• 1 year in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or related trades or 2 years total work experience.
• Able to climb ladders, work in varied temperatures, and maintain driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills.
• Receive and document repair work orders; respond to emergencies promptly.
• Inspect, diagnose, and test facilities and equipment to identify issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment and tools safely.
