2020 Companies is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to build relationships with local retailers, educate on the client’s financial services, and drive program growth across your territory.

This field-based role involves daily store visits and no weekend work, with a 10% monthly bonus and $22 per hour pay. The position includes mileage reimbursement and full benefits, plus provided devices and materials.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage merchants professionally.

• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Travel with leadership to meet territory goals and coverage expectations.

• Audit and record competitive products, promotions, merchandising, displays and merchant feedback.
• Contribute to team efforts during launches and report activity timely.

Overview:

Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory!

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Pay: $22 per hour plus 10% Monthly Bonus Opportunity

Requirements: This position requires a personal vehicle, valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening.

This is a field-based role where you will visit local retailers and ensure they understand how to maximize the value of the program. You will serve as the face of the brand in the field building relationships, providing education, and ensuring a strong customer experience at each location.

What You’ll Do

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner

• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits

• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence

• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store

• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems

• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met

What This Role Looks Like Day-to-Day

• Field-based position with daily travel within your assigned territory

• Approximately 22-35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling

• Mix of in-store engagement, driving, and administrative follow-up

• Independent work style with strong support from leadership and training teams

Job Description:

• Partner with the client to train and advocate client products at the retailer
• Drive merchant awareness within your assigned territory
• Maintain professional interaction with both merchants and fellow employees
• Attempt to place point of purchase signage on exterior and/or interior of business
• Advise merchants by providing information on products
• Audit and record competitive products, promotions, merchandising, displays and merchant feedback
• Travel to major markets and events for iconic launches to promote products
• Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch-related activities, as needed
• Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations
• Ensure feedback reporting is submitted in timely manner

Performance Measurements:

• Meet or exceed quarterly visit goals
• Meet or exceed weekly in store time goals
• Visit multiple store locations on a daily and weekly basis
• Effectively schedule store visits two weeks or more in advance
• Effectively execute assigned activities inside each location during all visits
• Effectively demonstrate an ability to establish and influence business relationships through merchant awareness, POP placement and consistent productivity
• Record and maintain appropriate documentation for each visit
