Job summary

2020 Companies, Inc. is seeking a Retail Engagement Specialist to cultivate relationships with local retailers, educate merchants on client products, and drive program adoption within your market in Florida.

This is a field-based position requiring daily travel and independent management of a territory. You will visit 22–35 retailers daily, support in-store signage, document activities, and report back to Retail Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
• Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
• Reliable transportation within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the client to train and advocate client products at the retailer.

• Maintain professional interaction with both merchants and fellow employees.
• Attempt to place point of purchase signage on exterior and/or interior of business.
• Advise merchants by providing information on products.
• Audit and record competitive products, promotions, merchandising, displays and merchant feedback.
• Travel to major markets and events for iconic launches to promote products.
• Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch-related activities, as needed.
• Responsible for accurately tracking and communicating all activity to Retail Operations.
• Ensure feedback reporting is submitted in timely manner.

Schedule: Monday - Friday Pay: $23 per hour plus 10% Monthly Bonus Opportunity

Requirements:

This position requires a personal vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening. This is a field-based role where you will visit local retailers and ensure they understand how to maximize the value of the program. You will serve as the face of the brand in the field building relationships, providing education, and ensuring a strong customer experience at each location.

What You’ll Do

• Visit retail locations within your assigned territory and engage with merchants in a professional, relationship-focused manner.
• Introduce and educate new merchants on the client’s financial services and program benefits.
• Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns to ensure merchant understanding and confidence.
• Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding in-store.
• Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met.

What This Role Looks Like

• Day-to-Day Field-based position with daily travel within your assigned territory.
• Approximately 22-35 retail visits per day depending on geography and scheduling.
• Mix of in-store engagement, driving, and administrative follow-up.
• Independent work style with strong support from leadership and training teams.
