ActionLink in Ypsilanti, MI is seeking a Part-Time Display Installer to visit major retail stores and ensure proper placement and maintenance of promotional displays. You’ll complete installations, troubleshoot issues, and submit same-day digital survey feedback with photos.

Hourly compensation starts at $19.00 for general merchandising, with higher rates for additional technical projects. W-2 employment, bi-weekly pay, 401(k) with match, travel reimbursement, and PTO accrue weekly.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience.
• Ability to follow complex display diagrams.
• Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Comfortable working independently and with a small team.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retail stores to install and maintain displays.
• Assemble, place, and troubleshoot promotional displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and photos.
• Travel within assigned territory as needed.
• Coordinate with clients and report to ActionLink.

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to 15 hours per week, availability required Monday-Thursday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings.
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Versatility:Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory

• Tech-ready: Internet access, Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update, laptop/desktop access, and basic hand-held tools.
• Travel Ability:Must have a valid driver\'s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of their role
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
