Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for West Simsbury, CT and surrounding areas. You will visit major retail stores, ensure proper display placement, assemble and troubleshoot promotional displays, and submit same-day digital surveys with photos.

Typical schedule is up to 20 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 6:00am–6:00pm, with potential for more hours for larger regions or travel. W2 with bi-weekly pay and benefits included.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Store visits at major retail stores within an assigned territory.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.
• Travel to support coverage in Augusta and/or Portland, ME as needed.

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory

• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to20hoursper week, availability required Monday-Thursday; 6:00am to 6:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling. Support in Augusta and/or Portland, ME.

• Experience:Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable

• Tech-ready: Internet access, Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update, laptop/desktop access, and basic hand-held tools
• Travel Ability:Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
