Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser in the Richmond, IN area. You will visit stores to set up and maintain a variety of products, ensuring proper placement and display quality for major brands.

Typical schedule is Mon–Thu, 8:00am–5:00pm, up to 25 hours per week with no weekends or evenings. Compensation starts at $18.00 per hour, with higher rates for special projects, and eligibility for paid training and 401(k) options via W2 employment.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed.
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update.
• Travel Ability: Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of their role.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance.

Responsibilities

• Store visits to major retail stores within the Richmond, IN area to set up and maintain products.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promo displays.
• Represent clients like Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.
• Schedule up to 25 hours per week, Mon-Thu, 8:00am–5:00pm; no nights or weekends.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and photos for each store visit.

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to 25hoursper week, availability required Monday-Thursday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
