Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to work in Richfield, MN and surrounding area, visiting major retailers to set up and maintain product displays, and ensure proper placement and timing.

You will work up to 25 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with paid training, weekly pay via direct deposit, and travel reimbursement. Prior merchandising or retail experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to follow complex display diagrams and instructions.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retail stores to set up and maintain product displays and ensure proper placement.
• Maintain and assemble displays according to brand guidelines and diagrams.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos and feedback for each store visit.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
  Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays

• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling: Up to 25 hoursper week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability: Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
