Job summary

ActionLink, Llc in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to visit assigned stores, set up and rotate product displays, and ensure proper placement of electronics and home goods.

You will report findings with photos, follow display diagrams, and coordinate with a small team. The role suits self-motivated individuals who can travel in the territory and work up to 25 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable internet access and a smartphone or tablet for surveys.

Responsibilities

• Store visits to set up and maintain client displays in an assigned territory.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each visit.
• Travel and report to support larger regions or higher rates on occasion.

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling: Up to 25hoursper week, availability required Monday-Thursday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Experience:Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility:Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail:Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork:Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready:Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability:Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of their role
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
