Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a part-time Retail Merchandiser for Monroe, MI and the surrounding area. You will visit stores, ensure proper display placement, maintenance and troubleshooting, and submit quick surveys with photos after each visit.

You should have merchandising or retail experience, work independently, and be travel-ready with access to a vehicle. Weekly hours range from 5 to 15+, with paid training and possible additional hours during busy times.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Follow complex instructions and display diagrams with attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and with a small team when needed.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retail stores within the territory to complete projects.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and photos after each visit.
• Represent clients like Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose and Intel.
• Adhere to schedule: 8am–5pm, 5–15+ hours weekly; no weekends/evenings.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling: Up to 5-15+ hours per week, availability required work between 8am - 5pm Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday, additional hours/team projects may be available during busy times Thursday/Friday. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Travel Ability: Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of their role
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
