ActionLink in Minot, ND is hiring a Part-Time Retail Display Installer and Merchandiser to visit major stores and set up product displays for brands like Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.

You will ensure correct placement, assembly, troubleshooting, and maintenance of promotional displays while following diagrams and instructions. The role offers paid training and PTO accrual as you work.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or retail display setup is highly desirable.
• Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within a territory.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow display diagrams.
• Independent as well as collaborative when required.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retail stores to set up and maintain product displays for brands.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance and troubleshooting of displays.
• Represent clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose and Intel.
• Schedule up to 12 hours per week, Mon–Thu, 8:00am–4:00pm; no weekends/evenings.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each store visit.
• Opportunity for more hours for larger regions or travel.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment ; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**
• Scheduling: Up to 12 hours per week, availability required Monday-Thursday; 8:00am to 4:00pm. No weekends/evenings**
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable**
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory**
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams**Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed**
• Tech-ready: Internet access, Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update, laptop/desktop access, and basic hand-held tools
• Travel Ability: Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.**
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance**
