Job summary

ActionLink is hiring a Part-Time Retail Display Installer for Lumberton, NC and the surrounding area. You will visit major retail stores to set up and maintain electronic displays for brands like Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.

You will ensure proper placement, assembly, and troubleshooting of promotional displays, with up to 15 hours per week Monday through Friday, 8:00am–6:00pm. Training is provided and opportunities for higher hours exist with regional coverage.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update, laptop/desktop access, and basic hand-held tools.
• Travel ability: Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of their role
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance

Responsibilities

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Scheduling: up to 15 hours per week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 6:00pm. No weekends/evenings.
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit
