Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for La Crosse, WI and surrounding area to enhance displays at major retailers. You will position products, assemble displays, and ensure promotional materials are current.

The role requires driving to Onalaska and nearby locations, 5-15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with pay at $18.00 per hour. Training provided, benefits apply with W2 and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience is highly desirable.
• Must be able to travel within assigned territory including Onalaska area.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retail stores to set up and maintain product displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each visit.
• Ensure proper placement and maintenance of promotional displays.
• Report to supervisor with timely feedback from store visits.

Enhance the Retail Experience, One Display at a Time!

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to5-15hoursper week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 6:00pm. No weekends/evenings
  • Must be willing to support the Onalaska rep and bi-monthly cover locations approx. 80 miles from home.
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Experience:Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility:Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail:Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork:Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability:Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.

• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
