Job summary

ActionLink in Joliet, IL is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to install and maintain electronics displays across an assigned territory. You will set up displays for major brands, ensure proper placement, and troubleshoot as needed while reporting with photos and surveys the same day.

The role requires up to 20 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–6:00 pm, with no weekends or evenings. Prior merchandising/retail experience is highly valued; a valid driver's license and vehicle are

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have Internet access, basic handheld tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS-enabled device.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain displays at major retail stores within assigned territory.
• Ensure proper placement and maintenance of promotional displays; troubleshoot as needed.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each store visit.
• Travel as needed within region; report to program.

• **Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!

• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**

• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**

• Scheduling: Up to 20 hours per week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 6:00pm. No weekends/evenings

• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**

• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**
