Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to cover Gillette, WY and the surrounding area. You will visit major retail stores to set up and maintain product displays, ensuring proper placement and assembly.

This role offers up to 20 hours per month, Monday-Thursday 8:00am–4:00pm with no weekends or evenings. A tech-ready mindset, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, 3PL, or retail is highly desirable.
• Ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Comfortable working independently and with a small team.

Responsibilities

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within the assigned territory, setting up and maintaining a wide variety of products.
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Scheduling: Up to 20 hours per month, Monday-Thursday, 8:00am to 4:00pm; no weekends or evenings.
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit.
• Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel.

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to20hoursper Month, availability Monday-Thursday; 8:00am to 4:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Experience:Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility:Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail:Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork:Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability:Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
