Job summary

ActionLink is hiring a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser for Bozeman, MT, to maintain and install product displays at major retailers in the area. You will work 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Thursday, up to 15 hours weekly, with potential for more hours by taking on larger regions or travel.

You will visit stores, ensure proper product placement, and report results with photos and notes. Prior merchandising or 3PL experience is preferred, plus a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, 3PL, or retail is highly desirable.
• Ability to manage all levels of merchandising tasks in a defined territory.
• Must have a valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Tech readiness: internet access, GPS-enabled device, and basic tools.

Responsibilities

• Store visits: complete projects at major retailers within territory, setting up and maintaining products.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional displays.
• Represent clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel during visits.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and photos for each store visit.
• Schedule up to 15 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 8:00am–4:00pm; no weekends.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment ; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**
• Scheduling: Up to 15 hours per week, availability required Monday-Thursday; 8:00am to 4:00pm. No weekends/evenings**
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable**
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready:Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability: Must have a valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of their role
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
