Job summary

ActionLink in Bangor, ME seeks a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser to install and maintain electronics displays at major retailers. You will set up products such as TVs, home electronics, tablets, and laptops, ensuring correct placement and signage.

The role offers up to 15-20 hours per week Monday-Thursday 6am-6pm, with paid training and potential for higher rates on specialized projects. A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required for traveling between stores.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Independence to work remotely within a territory and collaborate with a small team when needed.
• Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for travel between stores.

Responsibilities

• Visit assigned stores to set up and maintain product displays across a territory.
• Assemble, place, and adjust promotional displays and signage.
• Report progress with same-day digital surveys and photos after each visit.
• Be flexible for additional hours and higher rates on larger regions or specialized projects.

• **Store Visits: ** Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays**
• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel**
• **Scheduling: Up to 15-20 hours per week, availability required Monday - Thursday 6am - 6pm. No weekends
• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.**
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit**

• Experience: Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable**
• Versatility: Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail: Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• **Tech-ready:Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi‑Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability: Must have driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
