Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part‑Time Retail Merchandiser in Auburn Hills, MI to install and maintain promotional displays across assigned stores. The role involves visiting multiple retailers, reporting results, and coordinating with clients in a fast-paced electronics environment.

The position offers up to 15 hours per week, with weekday availability and no weekend shifts. Training is provided, and a W2 payroll setup includes weekly pay and direct deposit.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable.
• Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory.
• Attention to detail: follow complex written instructions and display diagrams.
• Independence and teamwork: work independently and with a small team when needed.
• Tech-ready: internet access, handheld tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled device.

Responsibilities

• Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to set up and maintain products.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each visit.

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!

• Purpose: Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays

• Clients: Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T‑Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel

• Scheduling: Up to 15 hours per week, availability required Monday‑Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings

• Additional Opportunities: Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.

• Reporting: Submit same‑day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit
