Job summary

ActionLink is seeking a Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in Anderson, SC to execute in-store merchandising projects for major brands. You will visit stores, set up and maintain product displays, and ensure accurate placement and troubleshooting as required.

The role offers up to 25 hours per week, with a W2 employment arrangement and weekly pay. Applicants should be comfortable with independent fieldwork and occasional travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience.
• Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs., and travel within assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Visit stores within the Anderson, SC area to set up and maintain product displays.
• Ensure proper placement, assembly, and maintenance of promotional displays; troubleshoot as needed.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each visit; report back on results.

• Store Visits:Complete projects at major retail stores within an assigned territory to represent our clients’ brands by setting up and maintaining a wide variety of their products –you’d be working with anything from HD TVs and home theater equipment; small and large home appliances; tablets & laptops; gaming consoles; home audio; and more!
• Purpose:Ensure proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of promotional product displays
• Clients:Represent global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, and Intel
• Scheduling:Up to25hoursper week, availability required Monday-Friday; 8:00am to 5:00pm. No weekends/evenings
• Additional Opportunities:Potential for more hours if covering larger regions or traveling.
• Reporting:Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each store visit

• Experience:Previous merchandising, 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility:Handle all levels of merchandising work within assigned territory
• Attention to Detail:Follow complex written instructions and display diagrams
• Independence and Teamwork:Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a small team when needed
• Tech-ready: Internet access, basic hand-held tools, and a Wi-Fi/GPS enabled smart device with latest OS update. Laptop/desktop access is a plus
• Travel Ability:Must have driver's license and access to a personal vehicle and will be required to use their vehicle to perform the responsibilities of the role.
• Physical Ability:Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
