Job summary

ActionLink, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiser for Hoover, AL, and surrounding areas. You will visit stores such as Best Buy, Walmart, and Target to set up and maintain client product displays, ensuring proper placement and planogram adherence.

The role offers 32–40 hours per week with flexible Monday–Friday schedules and occasional weekends. Training is provided; medical/dental/vision benefits and a direct deposit payroll are included.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Retail merchandising experience preferred (3PL or related).
• Ability to read planograms and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Visit major retailers within an assigned radius to complete projects.
• Turn shelves into sales by proper placement, assembly and maintenance of displays.
• Submit same-day digital surveys with photos for each visit.
• Schedule typically 32–40 hours per week; some weekends may be required.
• Be willing to travel to cover larger regions and outlying areas when needed.

ActionLink is seeking a Full-Time Retail Electronics Merchandiser to join our team for Hoover, AL and the surrounding area.

What you will do:

• Store Visits: Complete projects at major retail establishments like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and others within an assigned radius territory
• Purpose: To turn shelves into sales magnets and drive revenue by ensuring the proper placement, assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our clients' promotional product displays
• Clients: Represent innovative, global clients such as Microsoft, Samsung, T-Mobile, Dyson, Bose, Intel, and many others
• Scheduling: This position offers 32-40hours per week. Project hours and times fluctuate, so flexibility Monday through Friday typically between 8:00am to 6:00pm is necessary for the position. No evening hours required. Available to work on Mondays through Friday and occasional weekends.
• Additional Opportunities: If you can cover a larger region and travel to other outlying areas or states, there may be opportunities for additional hours
• Reporting: Submit same-day digital surveys with feedback and pictures for each completed store visit

• Education:High School diploma or GED
• Retail Experience: Previous merchandising, Must be experienced in 3PL, or relevant retail experience is highly desirable
• Versatility: Ability to handle all levels of merchandising work within the assigned territory
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow complex written instructions and display diagrams, Detail-oriented with the ability to read planograms accurately.
• Independence and Teamwork: Comfortable working independently most of the time and collaborating with a small team when needed, Flexible and a team player with a strong sense of urgency to complete projects.
• Tech-ready: Access to the internet, basic hand-held tools, and a smart device with Wi-Fi/GPS capability. Access to a laptop or desktop computer is a strong plus.
• Travel Ability: A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle transportation
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift products weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance
